Frank Botta
Frank Botta is an accomplished restauranteur and general manager who has 28+ years in the industry.
Originally from Massachusetts, Frank moved to New York to pursue a study of the fine arts. However, his love of the food scene, its culture and energy propelled him to make New York City his permanent home. He started his career at Convivio, specializing in fine dining and Italian wines where he learnt from one of the best sommeliers in the industry, Levi Dalton. He continued his career as the General Manager of well-known establishments such as Osteria Morini (Chef Michael White) and the Grand Central Oyster Bar.
Frank credits his knowledge and education of wines to Levi’s Saturday afternoon classes at Convivio, where he learnt to appreciate different spirits and wines from multiple regions. However, he firmly believes that ‘everyone can be their own connoisseur’. Hence, his aim is to share his love of fine wines with everyone while encouraging confidence in appreciating one’s own palate.
A very special thank you to
Harbor Sweets.
